WELCOME!
We are a friendly club of approximately 120 members ranging from the novice to the experienced gardener.
We normally meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the Old School Hall, Nettleham, Near Lincoln at 7:15 for 7:30pm. Please look at our programme to see the range of activities and speakers for the year.
There is often a plant stall where some excellent bargain plants can be purchased, and a raffle with worthwhile prizes. We also enjoy the opportunity to chat to fellow members.
Annual membership is £5.00 per person (due1st January). There is an entry charge of £1per person for meetings which includes a raffle ticket with chance to win a monthly prize.
An annual show is held each year in September, where entries are of the flowering variety, vegetables, flowers, pot plants, cookery, preserves, handicraft, artwork, photography and floral arrangements are exhibited.
In addition, the club organises a plant stall at the Nettleham summer carnival where there are many bargains to be had of perennials, shrubs, bulbs etc.
We also have occasional coach outings each year to places of interest to gardeners, as well as a Christmas social meeting with mulled wine, mince pies etc.
We are affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society
Come along to any meeting. Guests welcome for £2 per meeting. We are always glad to enroll new members.
