Our last meeting included a presentation by Brian Holman entitled ‘ Introduction to Herbs’. His introductory screen showed all the interesting ways herbs can be used. This was followed by some clear pictures but sadly very little information as to their use other than basic knowledge that we are all aware of. All in all quite a disappointing presentation especially as the last half was devoted to a discussion of his work as a volunteer at the prison at the Castle. Not as expected!
The winner of the Spring Flower Competition at the April meeting was Sally Bradley for her delightful display. Congratulations to her.
